Our Team

Diana, Gwen, and Xana are transgender electrologists-in-training, currently completing our educational requirements for California licensing.

Diana (Diana Noel, she/her)
Co-owner

Diana is a queer and neurodivergent transgender woman who became interested in electrolysis hair removal after observing her metamours go through it themselves. She has a computer science degree from the University of North Georgia, and has previously worked in retail and as a barista.

Outside of work, Diana enjoys playing rhythm games and jRPGs, watching anime, reading, creative writing, visual art, and improv theatre. She lives in Pasadena with her polycule.

Diana is currently in training at the Monterey Bay Institute of Electrology to meet California's electrology licensing requirements.

Gwen (Gweneth Malmquist, she/her)
Co-owner

Gwen is a queer and neurodivergent transgender woman who became interested in electrolysis hair removal after going through many hours of it herself. She previously worked as a senior software engineer in the tech industry for seven years, and has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Georgia Tech. She grew up locally in Pomona Valley, but lived in Atlanta for thirteen years before moving back west.

In her spare time, her hobbies include reading, writing, improv theatre, TTRPGs, cosplay, videogames, 3D printing, visual art, and writing code. As a leftist and an anticapitalist, Gwen finds the whole small-business-owner thing both rewarding and deeply ironic. She lives in Pasadena with her polycule and a number of plants and computers.

She first began studying and practicing electrolysis in Georgia in 2023, apprenticing under Sheri Williams in Roswell, and is currently in training at the Monterey Bay Institute of Electrology to meet California's electrology licensing requirements.

Xana (Artemis LaFave, they/them)
Co-owner

Xana is queer, nonbinary, and neurodivergent. They became interested in electrology after going through it themselves and observing Gwen do the same. They have previously worked in a variety of roles at a variety of places, including coffee shops, escape rooms, and at Atlanta's Plaza Theatre for the Rocky Horror Picture Show. They at one point completed part of an accounting degree and part of an electrician apprenticeship.

In their spare time, their hobbies include cosplay, bookbinding, videogames, mahjong, and the gay audacity to attempt any project. They live in Pasadena with their polycule and two cats.
